Empower Autism

Research

I am currently pursuing a graduate degree in a partial-residential program through The Union Institute & University. When I’m finished, I will have a Masters degree in counseling psychology, specializing in autism. I chose the program because you can specialize, and tailor your learning to your area of interest. Also, it’s ‘partial-residential’, which means I go up to Brattleboro, VT for about 5 days per semester, and the rest of the time I can study and write papers in my own time (and keep working/earning money). The coolest part of this whole experience is that I get to keep up with the latest research in my line of work, and then apply it to what I’m doing at The Autism Society of North Carolina and Blue Ridge Bags and More and Dragonfly Forest right away! I will post some of the research I read here, as well as some of my overview papers and book reviews.
